(West Des Moines, IA) The Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition is pleased to announce that U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has confirmed to be the keynote speaker at the 14th Annual Fall Family Banquet on Saturday, September 27th.  This annual tradition will be held at the Knapp Learning Center on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.  Dinner will be served at 5 pm, followed by the program at 6 pm.  This year’s dinner and rally will be the largest of its kind six weeks prior to the 2014 fall elections.

“Senator Cruz is known nationally as one of America’s most eloquent and fearless statesmen in defending the American way of life. His passion and education of the American public on the issues of the day that impact restoring our country’s personal and religious liberties is unmatched,” stated Steve Scheffler, President of Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition, “Senator Cruz has motivated conservative Americans to action like few other leaders have been able to do.  The timing of our dinner could not be better with the competitiveness of several federal and state races here in Iowa.”
