Guthrie County, IA — Republican activists Jon and Rita King have endorsed Dr. Ben Carson for President. They plan to support and work closely with the National Draft Ben Carson for President Committee, a political action committee formed to draft Dr. Ben Carson into the race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

Jon King, brother to Iowa Congressman Steve King (R) and a longtime grassroots conservative activist, said, “I greatly admire Ben Carson. He has my full support and I think he would make a terrific president. Dr. Carson’s straightforward manner is a breath of fresh air. Our country needs more leaders like him.”

“Dr. Carson is exactly the type of leader our country needs right now,” his wife Rita King continued. “He is a brilliant man, with integrity and the courage to speak the truth. I am thrilled to be part of the Draft Ben Carson movement and I hope he runs for president.”
