(Dubuque, IA) Today, Rod Blum, Republican nominee for Congress in Iowa’s First District, announced the release of his campaign’s first TV ad of the general election. The 30-second ad spot titled “Dirt Floors” focuses on Rod’s humble beginnings growing up in Eastern Iowa and his story of hard work and private sector success.

“Like most Eastern Iowans, I come from a humble and hard-working background. Growing up in a home with dirt floors my parents taught me that if I studied hard and worked harder anything was possible. That’s the American Dream and I want to make sure that young Americans have that same opportunity,” said Blum.
