There is a lot in the news that worrisome.  When we see increasing threats of terrorism, an unstable economy and even the Ebola virus coming to our shores it is easy to let fear dominate our lives.  Life has always been and always will be full of uncertainty.  Corrie Ten Boom, a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp, once said, “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”  We may not know what will happen tomorrow, but God does and we can trust Him to bring us through whatever trials come our way.  God does not change.  He is, James tells us, the “Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” We don’t have to fear the unknown.
