There is a lot in the news that worrisome. Ā When we see increasing threats of terrorism, an unstable economy and even the Ebola virus coming to our shores it is easy to let fear dominate our lives. Ā Life has always been and always will be full of uncertainty. Ā Corrie Ten Boom, a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp, once said, ā€œNever be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.ā€ Ā We may not know what will happen tomorrow, but God does and we can trust Him to bring us through whatever trials come our way. Ā God does not change. Ā He is, James tells us, the “Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” We don’t have to fear the unknown.
