How often do we let opportunity for ministry pass us by?  We see in Matthew 9 that when Jesus saw the crowds pressing around Him, He was moved with compassion because he saw they were “weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.”  We are constantly surrounded by people who are struggling with marital, financial, physical, spiritual, and relational hardships.  My prayer is that we would have the eyes of Christ to see the needs around us in order to better serve and pray for those God brings into our path.  Don’t pass people by.  Give encouraging words, pray for those you meet, find a practical way to serve, and share the hope you have in Jesus.
