Throwback to our old studio in Boone

brian-and-shane

Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers talk to Crystal Bruntz, the Republican candidate running for Iowa Senate in Iowa Senate District 15.  We learn more about her, why she’s running, and what is really helping foster job creation and an economic comeback in Newton, IA.  Then Sam Clovis, Republican candidate for Iowa State Treasurer, discusses why IPERS and Iowa’s College Savings Plan is in trouble.

The guys also discuss UnFair, a documentary on the IRS made by Craig Bergman, John Sullivan, and Judd Saul. Shane was able to watch a pre-screening when he was at CPAC and highly recommends it.  They will have a one-night screening in movie theaters this Tuesday, October 14th at 7:00p.  Check where it will be shown locally.

The guys also discuss Staci Appel’s desire to have a $17/hour minimum wage.  Really?  Yep she said it.

Remember you can listen on air at 8:00a and 6:00p on Saturdays on KTIA 99.3 FM if you live in the Des Moines/Ames Metro area.  You can also listen online live here.  Also we are on iTunes!
