Old-Rugged-Cross.jpgThe Bible says in Hebrews 12, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

When you struggle with past sin, look to Jesus.  When you are facing self-doubt, look to Jesus.  When you are depressed and in the dumps, look to Jesus.  When you experience pain and hurt, look to Jesus.

Jesus helps us run the race.  Jesus allows us to endure.  We are not alone, lay it aside, look to Jesus and run on.
