We aren’t sure we would call it “magic,” but this is where something happens.

Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers talked about Samaritan Purse’s ministry Operation Christmas Child with Sarah Metraus who serves their Upper Midwest Region.  We highly encourage our listeners and readers to get involved.

The guys then talk with Matt Heerema, a pastor at Stonebrook Church in Ames, IA, about two upcoming conferences his church is hosting – Thriving at College with Alex Chediak on November 8th and Technology and the Glory of God with Tim Challies and Matt Perman on December 6th.

Also Brittney Maynard decided not to commit suicide today after all.  The 29-year-old woman with a terminal brain cancer says that she still feels good enough and has enough joy to continue a little while longer.  Shane and Brian discuss that and Apple CEO Tim Cook is gay and said that has been God’s greatest gift.  The guys also talk about the state of Iowa’s U.S. Senate race.

Remember you can listen on air at 8:00a and 6:00p on Saturdays on The Truth Network 99.3 FM if you live in the Des Moines/Ames Metro area.  You can also listen online live here.  Also we are on iTunes!
