U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) gives a clinic on how to handle stupid questions from the media and the left (yes I’m being redundant).  The question is from Kevin Steele from KMBT-TV at an event in Beaumont, TX – “Do you have personal animosity toward gay Americans?”  You know how we’re told there is no such thing as a stupid question? Well that’s not quite true.  This was a stupid question.

Stupid questions don’t deserve a serious answer.  Cruz instead turns the table on the guy and makes him (whether he realizes it or not) look absolutely foolish.

Watch and learn.

Candidates take note. Here’s an earlier lesson provided by U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).  Candidates must demand substantive questions from the press.  Journalists should act like the fourth estate not like some supermarket tabloid gutter rat.  If you are not sure how this is done check out my interview with Cruz…. all substance, no fluff.
