(Des Moines, IA) New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a candidate for the Republican nominee for President, spoke at the Des Moines Register Soapbox at the Iowa State Fair on Saturday.  Christie bypassed remarks and spent his allotted 20 minutes for Q&A.  Christie was interrupted when animal rights protestors made it up on stage to then be removed by the Iowa State Patrol.  Christie also interacted with immigration protestors who were chanting “citizenship now.”
