Donald Trump is a misogynist.  That is not a term I generally throw around, but it is one that I believe suits the real estate tycoon and celebrity turned presidential candidate.  Not only does it fit, but if you were to look up the word in the dictionary Trump’s picture should be right there.

I have to admit though he has been the teflon candidate so I am not sure if the latest controversy will do him in, but it should.

Trump in a feature article in Rolling Stone crossed a line with anyone who has a shred of decency when he remarked Carly Fiorina on her appearance while watching Fox News on his plane.

When the anchor throws to Carly Fiorina for her reaction to Trump’s momentum, Trump’s expression sours in schoolboy disgust as the camera bores in on Fiorina. “Look at that face!” he cries. “Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!” The laughter grows halting and faint behind him. “I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not s’posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”

This was simply out-of-line. This, considering his checkered history, is probably pretty tame in comparison.  This isn’t straight talk, it’s crude and juvenile. That many in the Republican Party are contemplating making this man the nominee, to use Trump’s words – are we serious?

Trump today tried to say that his comments were about her “persona,” not her appearance.  What a crock.

Trump also bragged on Twitter:

I have to ask. Exactly what about Trump’s comments toward Fiorina and the plethora of other women he’s offended over the years resonate with those evangelicals’ worldview?  How does his trading in wives for newer models jive with a biblical worldview?

And I can go on.  I have to ask though what in the world will do this guy in?  He proves over and over and over again that he is utterly unsuited to be President of the United States.
