Presidential Family Forum(Des Moines, IA) Approximately 1500 people attended the 2015 Presidential Family Forum at the Community Choice Convention Center in Des Moines, IA on Friday night.  The event was hosted by The FAMiLY Leader Foundation and it was moderated by Frank Luntz.

Seven Republican presidential candidates sat at a table on stage with Luntz and had a discussion on various questions that Luntz posed. The candidates that participated were: Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, and U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).

After the event the different candidates held receptions where they could meet with voters. Carson, who is currently under Secret Service protection, did not hold a reception.  Rubio did not make it down for his reception. Cruz’s reception room was packed.
