Aitken spent four months in prison until New Jersey Governor Chris Christie gave him clemency. Aitken was arrested, charged and convicted under three different New Jersey laws because he possessed legally purchased firearms in his car that were also being transported legally. Not only did he lose his freedom for a short while, but he lost visitation rights to see his son as a result of this unjust action.

Franklin Graham says he’s leaving the Republican Party over the last Omnibus bill that was passed. Plus, Black Lives Matters demonstrators protest at the Mall of America and the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Also President Obama says he is praying for persecuted Christians. Then the Washington Post takes a cheap shot at U.S. Senator Ted Cruz’s children by way of a political cartoon.
