Former Hewlett Packard CEO and Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina endorsed U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) in his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.

Fiorina said at a rally in Florida on Wednesday that she voted for Cruz in the Virginia Primary.

ā€œTed Cruz is a fearless fighter for our constitutional rights. He has spent his life protecting Americansā€™ God-given liberties, and he has always stood by his word. Unlike the status-quo political class in D.C., Ted Cruz didnā€™t cower when he got to Washington ā€“ he stood unequivocally for the American people. I know Ted, and heā€™ll do the same as president,” said Carly Fiorina.

ā€œCarly Fiorina is a strong, principled leader and woman of faith,ā€ said Cruz. ā€œOur campaign is stronger with her leadership and her voice. Her story embodies the promise that in America anyone can start as a secretary and become a Fortune 50 CEO. Fiorina said it is time to unite behind Cruz.
