(Wall Lake, IA) Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa) announced he has received the endorsement of Iowa State Senators serving in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District. The Senators are Bill Anderson, Dennis Guth, Mark Segebart, and Jason Schultz. King also said additional legislative endorsements will be announced soon.

“It’s an honor to receive the endorsement of each State Senator,” King stated. “I appreciate their support and value the contribution they make to Iowa in their service. We share constituents and values, working together wherever possible to the benefit of Iowans. As Republicans, we also demand accountability and transparency as we work to balance budgets, limit government overreach, and protect Liberty.”

Iowa State Senator Endorsements

I know Steve King, his work ethic, his values, his absolute commitment to doing the right thing by standing strong against the pressures of a liberal agenda. He knows his constituents, his District, its industries and businesses including agriculture, and serves us well, with integrity and honesty. I want this stalwart constitutional conservative to continue representing me in Congress. I know he’s the best person for the job and he has my full endorsement for re-election.

State Senator Bill Anderson (R-Pierson)

Steve King has a great understanding of our Constitution, and the national “tone” of America, when it was written. He understands that our rights come from God, not government, and that it is the government’s job to protect those rights. I admire Steve King for standing on his principles and for his enthusiasm in promoting them. He knows how to take the ideals that make this country great and explain them so the average citizen can grasp them. Steve King embodies what our founding Fathers envisioned a true statesman should be.

State Senator Dennis Guth (R-Klemme)

I am proud to support Congressman King due to his unwavering courage in standing up for Constitutional conservatism. Steve has consistently been the leader in providing bold, clear positions that would reestablish American exceptionalism. Steve King speaks for the silent majority, the vast number of underestimated, hardworking Iowans who know right from wrong. Congressman King is their champion.

Senator Jason Schultz (R-Schleswig)

Steve King: bold and brilliant man.

State Senator Mark Segebart (R-Vail)

King serves on the US House Agriculture, Judiciary, and Small Business Committees. In 2015, he was named Chairman of the Executive Overreach Task Force by Speaker Paul Ryan. King has long chaired the Conservative Opportunity Society (COS), an organization founded by Speaker Newt Gingrich and others in 1983. COS is the leading voice for Constitutional and conservative principles in the U.S. House and represents one of only a half dozen seats at Speaker Ryan’s discussion table each week.

Congressman King is the founder of King Construction. A former small business owner, King resides in rural Sac County, Iowa, with his wife of 43 years, Marilyn. The Kings have three happily married sons and seven grandchildren; all the Kings live within 10 miles of each other.
