This week on Caffeinated Thoughts Radio host Shane Vander Hart, along with producer Ron Carlson, spoke with Martin Brown, Director of Government and Public Affairs with ParentalRights.org, Brown is a former Commissioner with the Virginia Department of Social Services. They discussed the racial disparity seen in the child welfare system in Iowa and nationally. Brown also discussed how the Parental Rights Amendment would help address this.

In the second segment the guys spoke with David Beilinson, Director/Producer of the documentary Who Took Johnny, an examination of the infamous 34-year-old cold case behind the disappearance of West Des Moines paperboy Johnny Gosch – the first missing child to ever appear on the side of a milk carton.

Then Shane and Ron discussed the mass shooting that took place on early Sunday morning at a gay night club called The Pulse in Orlando, FL. They look at the narratives that are developing around this event that have nothing to do with the primary problem of radical Islamic terrorism.

Plus, don’t miss the most epic 8th grade graduation speech ever given (or at least the only one Shane has been entertained by).
