So much for Hillary Clinton breaking a glass ceiling.

Andy Alexander is an acquaintance of mine that recently wrote something quite profound. Noting the schizophrenia of the Democrat party where sexual identity is concerned, Andy wrote that Democrats were the only group of people that could be excited about their first female nominee for president, while simultaneously claiming that gender is a meaningless social construct that ought to be rejected as a relic of history. Andy was spot-on, of course. How can you possibly celebrate the achievements of a particular sex if the distinctions between the sexes are irrelevant or non-existent? So much for Hillary Clinton shattering a “glass ceiling”. After all, that sort of thing only exists in the minds of people that still connect gender to biology.
