A friend of mine pointed out a t-shirt that the Trump Make America Great Again Committee (a joint fundraising venture between the Trump campaign and Republican National Committee) is selling.

I have to wonder how many of these Trump Pride Men’s tees they are selling.

The description reads, “Show your pride and your support for Trump with this exclusive equality tee.”

Welcome to the new Republican Party under Donald Trump. Perhaps my memory is failing, but I can’t think of any Republican nominee appealing to gay pride before. I’m not saying there are not those in the homosexual community that are pro-life, pro-limited government, etc. I’d say appeal to those voters by making a case for those issues, not by celebrating sexual orientation and an agenda that has been pushed under the rainbow flag to help undermine the definition of marriage and religious liberty.

It isn’t like he has t-shirts for other voter blocs beyond women and veterans, so I find the addition of an LGBTQ t-shirt odd.

Then again it isn’t like Trump has been a champion for traditional marriage or for religious liberty (beyond repealing the Johnson amendment).
