From Left: Brian Myers and Joel Kurtinitis

On Caffeinated Thoughts Radio last Saturday Brian Myers was joined by Joel Kurtinitis who filled in for Shane Vander Hart as co-host. Kurtinitis is an opinion columnist for the Des Moines Register, branded contributor to The Blaze, and contributing editor at The Liberty Conservative.

Brian and Joel talked Dr. Lee Hieb, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in spinal surgery. She is past president of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, a free market medical organization and author of the new book “Surviving the Medical Meltdown: Your Guide to Living Through the Disaster of Obamacare.” She discussed the Republicans’ failed attempt at repealing Obamacare.

They also spoke with Pete Klindt. Klindt is the former leader of the 1960s “blue-eyed soul” band “The Pete Klint Quintet” and now Director of Operations at Git N Go Convenience Stores, Inc. He discussed his stellar Rock-n-Roll career in the late 1960s that included a #1 single (Walkin’ Proud) and his subsequent conversion to Christ.

Plus the guys discussed President Trump’s executive order nullifying the Obama administration efforts on climate change. Also Trump’s travel ban is blocked until an appeal to the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals can be heard.  The guys also discuss the latest video released by Center for Medical Progress, privacy protections that are on the verge of being overturned, and the call for Congress to subpoena Evelyn Farkas in the continuing Trump Tower Phone Tapping-gate saga.
