I’m not exactly sure when Louie Giglio preached this particular sermon. It was from an earlier Passion Conference held in Nashville, TN. His target audience is college students, but the principles he discusses from God’s word applies to us all.

Giglio’s message centers around one verse – Colossians 3:17.

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him,” (ESV).

For a follower of Christ, all work is a ministry. The passion that we employ in our work whether it is the arts, architecture, politics, or, with the example Giglio gave, designer jeans should serve a higher purpose – to honor Christ and make His name known.

It was a good reminder for me as I approach my business. I hope you find it encouraging as well.
