There have been efforts at the state level, as well as, the federal level to defund Planned Parenthood of all taxpayer funding and this month they gave taxpayers two more reasons why that is good policy.

Reason #1: Updated Propaganda for Parents of Preschoolers

Planned Parenthood updated its resource “helping” parents talk to their preschoolers.

Here’s one confusing anatomy lesson:

While the most simple answer is that girls have vulvas and boys have penises/testicles, that answer isn’t true for every boy and girl. Boy, girl, man, and woman are words that describe gender identity, and some people with the gender identities “boy” or “man” have vulvas, and some with the gender identity “girl” or “woman” have penises/testicles. Your genitals don’t make you a boy or a girl.

You can say that most girls have vulvas and most boys have penises/testicles. You may want to emphasize that it doesn’t matter too much what parts someone has — that doesn’t tell you much about them. But you can make that decision based on your values and how you plan to talk with your kid about gender as they grow up.

Yes, your genitals do determine biological sex. Those who are asexual are the only ones who can claim biological uncertainty. This dismisses science for the sake of a political agenda and Planned Parenthood believes they should foist it on preschoolers.

Then they encourage you to leave your child as a blank slate to decide their “gender identity” themselves.

Be thoughtful about your choices when it comes to books, toys, entertainment, clothes, decorations, and other things you surround your little one with. These choices have an influence on your kid’s understanding of gender and what it means. Putting daughters in pink princess rooms and boys in blue sports rooms before they’re old enough to choose for themselves can send the message that they have to like certain things because of their gender.

Yes, having girls wear pink and boys wear blue… Just awful!

If you think your child may be transgender (a ridiculous notion) they courage parents to seek out counseling from those who are supportive of LGBTQ identities.

If you think your child might be transgender but don’t know what to do, talking with a counselor or therapist who’s familiar and supportive of LGBTQ identities is a good idea. Talking with other families with trans or gender nonconforming kids can be helpful, too — for both you and your child.

By following Planned Parenthood’s ridiculous advice they are already setting their children up for confusion. A counselor who treats gender dysphoria as normal is one that should be shunned, not embraced.

Then they affirm the idea that families don’t need a father and mother.

Little kids notice, and sometimes comment on, everything. Your kid may notice another kid on the playground or in their preschool who has a different kind of family than them — a family with a different number of parents, or with grandparents raising kids, or with two moms or two dads, or any number of other situations.

These observations are good teachable moments. Take a minute and explain to your kid that they’re right — what they’re noticing is different from your family — but that there’s nothing wrong with it, and that we can always be friends with people who are different from us. You’ll be steering your kid in the direction of respecting others as they grow up. It will also one day help them figure out the kind of family they want to build for themselves.

They also say we shouldn’t assume their preschooler is heterosexual either.

Be mindful of how you talk around your kid, too. Talking to (or in front of) your daughter about growing up and having boyfriends or marrying a man (and vice versa) sends the message that girls are supposed to like boys, and boys are supposed to like girls, and that anything else is wrong or not normal. While kids this young don’t know their sexual orientation yet, assuming they’re straight could make them scared to come to you or feel bad about themselves later. This can lead to mental health issues, unhealthy relationships, and taking more health risks when they reach their teenage years.

Reason #2: Planned Parenthood executive describes how they violate federal law.

The Center for Medical Progress released its latest video and in it, Dr. Suzie Prabhakaran, Medical Affairs VP for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, confirms PPFA uses paperwork to fake compliance with late-term abortion rules.

“So some people train to just document that like, you know to comply with the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban, you basically have to say, ‘I intend to utilize dismemberment techniques for this procedure,’” explains Prabhakaran.

“So every time you do a procedure, that’s how you document. So, like, there’s like a checkbox,” Prabhakaran states, “so it would be before the procedure, you do your evaluation, you write, ‘I intend to utilize dismemberment techniques for this procedure.’”

Prabhakaran indicates she never uses digoxin to kill the fetus before the abortion, and relies entirely on the “checkbox” to “document” her intent in the abortion to certify compliance with the federal law: “I’m not doing digoxin, and we’re just going to document and there’s never been a problem.”

Prabhakaran’s description of Planned Parenthood’s loose protocols for 2nd-trimester abortion procedures corroborates statements by Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Senior Director of Medical Services for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, in CMP’s first undercover video, that show a lax attitude toward the partial-birth abortion law:

“The Federal [Partial-Birth] Abortion Ban is a law, and laws are up to interpretation. So there are some people who interpret it as it’s intent. So if I say on Day 1 I do not intend to do this, what ultimately happens doesn’t matter.”
