Shoebox distribution in Zambia

Nicole Sheldon, the Upper Midwest Regional Director of Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, joined Shane Vander Hart to discuss how listeners, their families, and their churches can participate in sharing God’s love in a practical way with children across the world.

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has packaged and delivered over 147 million shoebox gifts to over 150 nations and territories. For many of these children, this shoebox gift is the first gift they have received.

Not only that, but Operation Christmas Child partners with local churches in destination countries to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

There are plenty of ways for you to get involved: pack a shoe box at home and drop it off at the closest drop-off location, build a shoebox online, host a packing party, take a trip to volunteer at your region’s processing center, join their prayer network, or cover the cost of shipping for a shoebox (or two or three or 100).
