The Parental Rights Amendment (H.J. Res. 121/S.J. Res. 48), recently re-introduced into the House of Representatives, is back on our legislative radar. What does it do? Why is it needed? Since parental rights are inalienable rights what if this amendment fails, what message will that send? Will this diminish children’s rights as some on the left believe? Is ratifying the Parental Rights Amendment to the Constitution even possible?

These are questions that Shane Vander Hart discussed with Will Estrada who is the director of federal relations at the Home School Legal Defense Association. Estrada also discussed who has signed on as a co-sponsor for the Parental Rights Amendment in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate, and what our listeners can do to help see it through Congress and on to the states for ratification.
