(Van Meter, IA) Young for Iowa placed an over $1 million ad buy and has surpassed $1.4 million cash on hand in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District Race.

“We have a strong campaign and are hitting the ground running with over $1.4 million cash on hand and a more than $1 million ad buy which sets us up for continued success,” said Congressman David Young’s campaign manager Dylan Lefler. “David is ready to show Iowans why they should send him back to be their voice in Congress.”

Young for Iowa has placed the ad buy for the general election this fall. The ads will start running on broadcast, cable, satellite, and radio next month and continue through election day.

The campaign will also report $1,424,628 cash on hand. In the second quarter of 2018, Young for Iowa will report close to $540,000 raised bringing the cycle-to-date raised to nearly $1.8 million.
