Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa) announced the location of his first town hall meeting to be held this Saturday, January 26, 2019 in O’Brien County. Earlier this month, his office released the dates of the town hall meetings to be held in each of the Iowa 4th Congressional District’s 39 counties.

The event is open to the public and to the media. The Town Hall will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM Central at the Primghar Community Building, 215 1st Street SE, Primghar, IA.

The original first town hall was scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 24, 2019, but has to be rescheduled due to a change in the U.S. House of Representatives voting schedule.

King faces at least a three-way primary for the Republican nomination. State Senator Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) and Bret Richards, a businessman and former Mayor of Irwin, have announced their intentions to run. Story County Supervisor Rick Sanders said that he is considering running as well.
