I don’t usually write about natural disasters, but I wanted to draw our readers’ attention to the devastation that residents of Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa are experiencing.

There is historic flooding in the area due to rapid snowmelt and the effects of a “bomb cyclone” that hit last week. The widespread devastation from the flooding has displaced hundreds and claimed three lives.

Much of Offutt Air Force Base, home of U.S. Strategic Command, is underwater as well.

Pray for residents of Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa as they endure and recover from this.
