DES MOINES, Iowa – Republican State Senator Zach Nunn of Bondurant announced that he will launch a listening tour of the district as he decides whether or not to challenge incumbent U.S. Rep. Cindy Axne, D-Iowa, in 2020.

He wrote on Facebook:

Recently, I’ve been approached by friends & supporters from across Iowa asking me to consider a campaign for congressional district #IA03. Today we’ll launch a listening tour across all 16 counties in #IA03 to learn from families, farmers, and businesses about how we can take Iowa values to the nation’s capital.

It’s time for a new generation of leadership that will build consensus, fight Washington inaction and corruption, and always put community first.

Kelly, the kids, and I are excited to travel across the district. We look forward to hearing from you!

Nunn is one of several Republicans considering tossing their hat in the ring to win back the district that flipped to Democrats in 2018.
