Since 2006 we have provided news and commentary from a conservative Christian perspective at Caffeinated Thoughts. Since this website’s humble start on Blogger.com, CT has grown from being my personal blog to become a nationally-recognized political news website with multiple contributors and tens of thousands of visitors monthly from all over the United States and a trusted source of conservative Christian commentary.

During that time, we have had several funding sources. Because of privacy concerns I had, as well as, the irrelevant (and sometimes offensive) ads they would serve we dropped Google Adsense. Direct advertisements ebb and flow and being a smaller conservative Christian site makes it harder to attract business, but we do appreciate our past and present sponsors. Because of them, we can exist on a shoestring budget. We have never allowed sponsored articles or links within posts because we want to be a trusted source for news and commentary, but we have passed up a not insignificant revenue stream as a result.

We also appreciate our past and present donors asking for donations did not seem right since we are not a non-profit. So I wanted to make a change that I think is fitting.
