TIME announced on Wednesday morning that Greta Thunberg, the Swedish 16-year-old climate change activist, is their person of the year for 2019.

Thunberg, you may recall, after sailing across the Atlantic to raise awareness of climate change appeared before the United Nations to scold them for their “inaction.”

TIME is, obviously, free to choose whomever they want to be on their cover for person of the year. If I were able to offer submissions here are two “persons” I believe are more worthy than Thunberg.

First, Baby Yoda, because his appearance in “The Mandalorian” may have redeemed the Star Wars franchise.

Also, Conan the military dog who participated in and was wounded during the raid that resulted in the death of Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. I figure since animal rights activists believe animals are persons they should approve of this selection.

Before somebody decides to go off on me for my choices let me just make it clear that this is a joke, much like Time’s Person of the Year selection process. The only difference is that their joke isn’t funny because it is completely predictable.
