SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Jeremy Taylor, a Republican candidate running in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District, announced his campaign demonstrated grassroots strength during Monday’s Iowa Republican Caucus by blanketing precincts in the district.
Taylor, 41, of Sioux City is a former state representative and current Woodbury County Supervisor. He also serves as chaplain in the Iowa Army National Guard. He is running in a five-way primary for the Republican nomination in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District race that includes incumbent U.S. Rep. Steve King, 70, of Kiron.
He said they leveraged the support of over 50 of the campaign’s co-chairs, that included central committee members and elected officials, who collected signatures and represented the campaign at their precinct caucuses.
In addition to conservative activists including veterans, pastors, and home school families, Taylor said the campaign’s representation in precinct caucuses included the ISU College Republicans and members of the business community such as:
