She earned a B.A. in political science and German studies from the University of Minnesota, and her J.D. from Drake University. She also holds a degree from the Association Free Lutheran Bible School. Gumbel handles estate planning, probate, real estate, and business entities for a law firm in Austin, Minn. She is a frequent presenter on the topic of estate planning and death with a passion to inform people on the process of managing and distributing property after a death and how to best organize their affairs to make the process as smooth as possible for their loved ones.
