Powered by President Donald Trump, the greatest American comeback in history is officially underway.

The economy regained 1.8 million jobs in July, the third-largest one-month jobs gain in U.S. history — a mark only eclipsed by the two preceding months. That brings the total number of jobs added since May to over 9.3 million, including 623,000 manufacturing jobs. President Trump made a promise to the American people that he would bring back American manufacturing, and he kept that promise.

You would think the American economy reigniting again would be cause for bipartisan celebration, but Joe Biden cannot stop rooting against his own country. Biden and the radical Democrats are dreading a historic economic recovery, terrified that it will ruin his election chances. Unfortunately for them, it’s never wise to bet against President Trump, and it’s downright foolish to bet against the United States of America. Biden realizes that he can’t compete with President Trump on the economy, and rightly so.

For eight dreadful years in the White House, Joe Biden oversaw the slowest economic recovery in our country since the Great Depression. The Obama-Biden “recovery” squeezed the middle class, leaving the majority of Americans outside the middle class for the first time in four decades. Under Obama and Biden, 93 percent of American counties failed to fully recover from the Great Recession. Now Biden wants a second go at it, but the American people simply cannot afford it. Joe Biden would destroy our economy. He’s promising to implement the largest tax increase in American history — 82 percent of Americans would see their taxes go up under the Biden tax plan, shrinking the economy by 1.5 percent and eliminating 585,000 jobs. Liberals like Joe Biden don’t know how to build; they only know how to destroy.

One of the most heinous examples of this truth is Joe Biden’s attitude toward the unborn. Biden used to be somewhat moderate on abortion until he decided to run for president in 2020. Biden folded to the radical left and embraced the extreme pro-abortion fringe, announcing his support for compelling American taxpayers to subsidize unrestricted, unlimited abortions. After nearly 50 years of opposing taxpayer-funded abortion, Biden caved in to the vocal minority and sacrificed the unborn to his political ambition. That’s not leadership; that’s cowardice. Being a strong leader means standing on principles even when it’s difficult.

Joe Biden is no leader. He’s just a pawn of the radical left who is willing to do anything to get elected.

Iowans protect life and liberty at all costs. Thankfully, the current President of the United States shares that conviction and has been the most fearless defender of life in our nation’s proud history. As children of God, we all recognize that every human life is sacred, holy, and precious. Since his first day in office, President Trump has taken historic action to protect the sanctity of every American life. Shortly after taking office, President Trump reinstated and expanded the Mexico City Policy, banning funding to any organizations that provide abortion services overseas. And earlier this year, President Trump became the first sitting president to address the annual March for Life rally. Under the Trump administration, the voices of pro-life Americans are no longer silenced and secluded; they are amplified and respected. Pro-life Americans stand on the side of justice and President Trump stands proudly alongside them.

The stakes truly could not be higher this November. The American people have a clear choice in front of them for the future course of our country. A vote for Joe Biden and the Democrats will lead to irreparable harm to these United States of America. A second term for President Trump will propel American greatness to new heights and empower the American Dream for the next generation. President Trump and his administration have accomplished so much already, but there’s still important work left to do. There’s only one person up for the job: Donald J. Trump.
