DES MOINES, Iowa – On Monday night, Democrat incumbent U.S. Rep. Cindy Axne debated her Republican challenger, former U.S. Rep. David Young, for their first debate in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District race.

Iowa PBS hosted with David Yepsen, host of Iowa Press, moderating the debate. Clay Masters, politics reporter and host of Morning Edition on Iowa Public Radio, and Kay Henderson, news director for Radio Iowa.
