Politico reports that former Iowa Governor Chet Culver’s name was mentioned amidst speculation of who could succeed current Democratic National Committee chair Tim Kaine.

Oh please make him the DNC chair, please make him the DNC chair.  Please… Please… Please…  That would so make my day.  What a *gem* they would have in Culver being at the helm.  I would only hope he’d run the DNC exactly like he ran the State of Iowa.

I won’t hold my breath though since the person who mentioned his name did so on the condition of anonymity.  I guess I wouldn’t want to admit publically that I considered him to be a viable candidate for the job.
