The Romney campaign released an ad entitled “Be Not Afraid” that attacks President Obama’s assault on religious freedom via the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services contraceptives mandate.  In it he highlights his recent endorsement by Polish leader Lech Walesa.

This is a good ad.  It begs the question though.  Where was Governor Romney stand when Catholic Charities in Boston decided to close its adoption services in 2006 instead of being forced by Massachusetts to adopt to same sex couples?  Charities such as Catholic Charities in Illinois have become collateral damage in the debate over the definition of marriage.  Will Romney stand up for them as well?
