A video that played yesterday makes the comment, “Government is the only thing we all belong to.”  I don’t belong to government.  Actually the government belongs to you and I – "we the people.”  The Declaration of Independence declares that government gains its power from the “consent of the governed.”

This video just illustrates why many Democrats favor the growth of government entitlements and increased spending.  It also explains how some can justify the Obama administration violating religious liberty with their contraceptives mandate.  You know our rights come from government after all.
