(Washington, DC) The National Republican Senatorial Committee launched seven billboards in Iowa, walk cards and a website on Friday targeting Congressman Bruce Braley (D-IA). The NRSC’s grassroots campaign in Iowa is a series of initiatives that will highlight Bruce Braley’s years of hard work and effort batting for Washington liberals’ ObamaCare over Iowa families, farmers, seniors and small businesses.

During his time in office, Bruce Braley, a slick former head of the Trial Lawyers Association, ā€œproudlyā€ voted for ObamaCare, which devastates families, seniors, small businesses and farmers as costs and premiums rise.

Now, in a stunning turn of total hypocrisy, when Bruce Braley was faced with having to join his own ObamaCare health plan, Braley actually got a special exemption not available to other Iowans.

The NRSC launched seven billboards in Des Moines and handed out walk cards at the Iowa State Fair to remind voters that Braley and his liberal Washington friends have abandoned Iowa’s middle class men and women, leaving them alone to face the burden of ObamaCare while excluding themselves from the costly overhaul. The walk cards and billboards encourage Iowans to visit the NRSC’s new website WrongTeamBraley.com to learn more about Braley’s reckless record.

“Bruce Braley canā€™t be trusted.Ā  Braley wants to be exempted from ObamaCare, while forcing it upon hard working Iowans,” said NRSC Press Secretary Brook Hougesen. “Bruce Braley stood with President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to force ObamaCare into law, ignoring the objections and concerns of family farmers, doctors, and hardworking Iowans.Ā  Braley is on the wrong team for Iowa.”
