Joni Ernst(Red Oak, IA)  State Senator and Republican candidate for United States Senate, Joni Ernst, was endorsed yesterday by the influential ShePAC organization – receiving their first endorsement of the 2014 election cycle.  ShePAC, a leader among conservative groups, endorses and advocates on behalf of conservative candidates, and most recently aided neighboring United States Senator Deb Fischer (R) in her 2012 election win.

In their endorsement, ShePAC highlighted Joni’s military and conservative fiscal credentials, by stating “Joni is ready to take Washington D.C. by storm. She has been uniquely prepared by 21 years of military service, including 14 months in Kuwait as a company commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Joni has clearly demonstrated results, not just flowery political speeches during her career in the Iowa State Senate…”

In response to ShePAC endorsement, Ernst stated, “I am humbled and honored to receive the endorsement of ShePAC – an organization that has advocated for some of the finest leaders in our nation.” She added, “As we begin to kick our campaign into high gear it is exciting to have the support of an organization that has incredible reach both in Iowa and nationally.”
