Americans for Prosperity released an ad today targeting Congressman Bruce Braley (D-Iowa) in Iowa’s U.S. Senate race specifically pointing out his vote against the Keystone XL pipeline.

“Bruce Braley is fighting for you.  If you’re Washington special interests.  Bruce Braley claims he’s for Iowans like when he was for the Keystone pipeline he said would create thousands of jobs but a month later he voted against it. Maybe those jobs aren’t the kind of jobs Braley respects,” the ad says.

The ad continues saying, “we all know what he said about farmers” and then shows the clip of Braley disparaging Senator Chuck Grassley’s farming background as evidence he is not qualified to chair the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The ad quotes Braley, “you might have a farmer from Iowa who never went to law school…  serving as the next chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee.”

It then encourages Iowans to contact Braley’s office and tell him to support the Keystone XL pipeline.
