(Des Moines, IA) Yesterday, Mother, Soldier, Independent Leader and Iowa’s Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, Joni Ernst, released a web ad titled “Service.”

The new web video highlights Joni’s passion for serving her community, state and nation – whether that is in uniform as a battalion commander and Lt. Colonel in the Iowa Army National Guard, as a Sunday School teacher, or representing southwest Iowa as a member of the state senate.  In the video, Ernst talks about what service means to her and how appreciative she is of those who sacrificed in the past so that Joni and her family are able to giveback.

Joni Ernst’s spokesperson, Gretchen Hamel, stated:  “We are so proud of Joni and her service to her community, to Iowa, and our nation.  There is a clear contrast in this election and its can be seen in this web video: Joni Ernst believes that it is Iowa Values and Iowans willing to serve their neighbors that make our state great and are the ingredients needed in Washington to get our great nation back on track.”

Joni is currently on her annual active duty with the Iowa Army National Guard at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin through Friday, July 26th.
