My letter to the editor responding to an op/ed by the Des Moines Register’s Richard Doak on July 12th was finally printed (and is online) today yesterday.  Now that it is no longer on people’s minds.  Please read and leave a comment (I don’t want to bother reading as I’m sure I’m getting smeared).

The timeliness of this letter is one reason why I blogged on it on July 13th.  I also love how they give it the title “Government isn’t always the answer.”  How they got that title over what I wrote, I’ll never know because government is rarely, if ever, the answer.
