(Des Moines, IA) Jake Ketzner, the campaign manager for Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and Lt. Governor Kim Reynold’s reelection campaign, will rejoin the administration after leaving to work for the campaign.  Kretzner was named by Branstad as his next legislative liaison.

Kretzner who graduated from the University of Iowa in 2008 previously served as a policy adviser focusing on the issues of transportation, inspections and appeals, corrections and lottery.  He replaces Adam Gregg who left the administration to run for Attorney General.  Gregg was appointed Iowa State Public Defender by Branstad yesterday as well.

“I am pleased to announce the hire of Jake Ketzner to serve as our legislative liaison,” said Branstad. “Jake is a talented professional who will work with legislative leaders to build a consensus on meaningful legislation that will continue moving Iowa forward.”

Kretzner, started who started his new role yesterday, said, â€œI’m grateful to have the opportunity to return to the Governor’s Office and for challenge of serving in this new capacity. I look forward to working with legislators in our shared interest of building Iowa for the future.”
