Donald Trump flew into Des Moines today for an event with the Simpson College Republicans, private meetings and two house parties in the evening.  Before he got off the plane, he spoke with the press who were interested in his presidential ambitions.

Trump said he would not make a decision until June or July, but indicated that a 2016 run poses fewer obstacles than 2012.  The real estate mogul said in 2012 that he had new projects underway and didn’t feel comfortable leaving them in other’s hands.  Trump said now his children and other executives can run the business while he campaigns, should he run.

Responding to a question about whether or not Iowans could relate to somebody who flies into the state on his own personal Boeing 757, Trump said, “I’m not going to be like other candidates.”  He stated that he can provide solutions that will solve the current debt crisis America faces.  He stated “all politicians do is talk.”

Don’t expect Trump to do a Pizza Ranch circuit when visiting Iowa.  He said “I don’t think people expect that I would campaign the same way” (that Rick Santorum did in 2012).
