Both neurosurgeon Ben Carson and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee have released that they will make an announcement about their decision regarding a future presidential bid.

Carson last week released that he would announce his decision about 2016 on Monday, May 4, 2015 in his hometown of Detroit, MI.  The event will be held at the Detroit Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts.  The time has not been announced yet.

Carson plans to travel to Iowa after his May 4th announcement.

Huckabee released details about his announcement today.  Huckabee will announce his decision on Tuesday, May 5th at 10:00a at Hempstead Hall in his hometown of Hope, AR.

Also there is speculation that former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum may announce his intentions very soon as well.  Sources tell Caffeinated Thoughts that he has hired Iowa staff.  U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham said there was better than a 90% chance that he’ll run is said to be looking at a May announcement as well.

Carson and Huckabee’s likely entries would increase the size of the GOP field to five.  So far only U.S. Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rand Paul (R-KY) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) are the only declared Republican candidates.  Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy on April 12th, and is the only declared Democrat candidate to date.

Update: I neglected to mention that Breitbart sources say Carly Fiorina plans to announce on May 4th as well.
