Immigration and multiculturalism are two of the most hotly debated subjects of our day. We are frequently told that there is “strength in diversity”, and we are also frequently told that people who have deep concerns about our current immigration policy are bigots and nativists. But Liberals in our country seem to be bent on repeating the self destructive mistakes of Europe. Look, in order for any nation to exist and thrive long term it must ordinarily have four things: One, it must have defined, controlled borders. Two, a common language. Three, a common culture, and four, a common religion upon which that culture is based. We used to have those things. It’s just plain silly to think that we are somehow stronger without them.
