The Reynolds campaign released a new ad that features a mother, Kate who has a special needs son named Alex. Her family has benefitted from the current managed care system for Medicaid in Iowa.

While not every Iowan has had this experience, it is untrue to say everyone has had issues with the switch to managed care. On my podcast last week, Governor Kim Reynolds discussed what she was doing to make improvements.

Hubbell has not offered any plan as to how he would improve Medicaid in Iowa only that he would bring it back under government management. He has not shared how he would pay for it, and the system prior to managed care was not sustainable.
