The Hubbell family seems to think they can buy Fred Hubbell’s way into the Iowa Governor’s seat.

Between 2017 and October 19, 2018, Fred and Charlotte Hubbell poured more than $6.4 Million into his campaign.

Fred’s siblings – Michael, James and Harriet – have collectively given $250,150.

Fred and Charlotte’s children, all living outside Iowa, threw in $82,203.
Other family members chipped in $8,925. The majority of these relatives also do not live in Iowa.

Additionally, Fred has $35,630 in recorded In-Kind Contributions. These for mileage, lodging and office space.

Out of $17.9 million in campaign contributions, $6.7 million (37%) came from the Hubbell family.

Hubbell money is clearly flowing in to buy an Iowa election.

One question remains. Will Iowans let them?
