DES MOINES, Iowa – The state judicial nominating commission on Friday announced the names of six nominees to fill two vacancies on the Iowa Court of Appeals. The vacancies were the result of Chief Judge David Danielson’s retirement in January and Judge Christopher McDonald’s appointment to the Iowa Supreme Court.
The commission decided upon the nominees after conducting interviews with 30 candidates on Thursday and Friday.
The nominees are:
