HULL, Iowa – Iowa State Senator Tim Kraayenbrink, R-Fort Dodge, announced his endorsement of State Senator Randy Feenstra in the Republican Primary for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District on Thursday afternoon.

“Senator Kraayenbrink is a respected leader in the Senate and across Iowa. He’s been a partner in the conservative fight and I’m proud to have his support,” Feenstra said responding to the endorsement.
Kraayenbrink represents Iowa Senate District 5, first elected to that seat in 2014. He is the vice chair of the Iowa Senate Appropriations Committee and also serves on the Education and Local Government committees as well as the Education Appropriations Subcommittee.
Feenstra is running to challenge incumbent Republican congressman Steve King from Kiron along with two other candidates – former Irwin Mayor Bret Richards and Woodbury County Supervisor Jeremy Taylor – in the four-way primary
Feenstra currently leads the Republican field in fundraising, and social conservative leader, Bob Vander Plaats of The FAMiLY LEADER, recently gave his personal endorsement to his campaign.
