A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows that Kamala Harris lost eight points since their last poll in July. It also confirms that Democrats essentially have a three-way race for the nomination.

The new poll was conducted after the ABC News Democratic Debate conducted between September 13-16, 2019 among 506 likely Democratic primary voters.

Here are the results:

  1. Former Vice President Joe Biden – 31 percent (+5 from July)
  2. U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. – 25 percent (+6)
  3. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. – 14 percent (+1)
  4. South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg – 7 percent (even)
  5. U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif – 5 percent (-8)
  6. Businessman Andrew Yang – 4 percent (+2)
  7. U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. – 2 percent (+1)
  8. U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J. – 2 percent (+1)

None of the other 12 candidates earned more than 1 percent.

Harris also saw a significant drop in Iowa in the most recent poll conducted by CBS News/YouGov on August 28-September 4, 2019 before the ABC News debate compared to the poll they conducted in Iowa in July. The results:

  1. Biden – 29 percent (+5)
  2. Sanders – 26 percent (+7)
  3. Warren – 17 percent (even)
  4. Buttigieg – 7 percent (even)
  5. Harris – 6 percent (-10)

Everyone else polls at 2 percent or less.

What is even more eye-opening is the new poll that Emerson conducted with California democratic primary voters after the ABC News debate that shows Harris only polling at 6 percent in her home state.

Biden and Sanders are tied at 26 percent with Warren at 20 percent. Harris is in fifth place at 6 percent behind Yang, who is also from California, who earned 7 percent in that poll.

Harris is in a free fall confirming what we saw last month, and no one is close to Biden, Sanders, and Warren.
